The name Charminar generally relates to "Four Towers" and "Mosque of the Four Minarets" that displays the form of the mosque's structure as four towers rise to the heavens off the main body.

The mosque is created from granite, lime and mortar. Charminar is quite an impressive sight bounded by the skyline of Hyderabad and is even more beautiful when seen at night under illumination.
